*Dr.Lenzo is a general practitioner and does not offer after hour emergency care. If you have an emergency, you may be refered to MedVet of Asheville or Haywood Animal Emergency in Waynesville

PHYSICAL EXAMS
Dr. Lenzo will check everything on your pet from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail and everything in between.
MICROCHIPPING
We use Pet Link microchips. These microchips have a free lifetime enrollment.
VACCINATIONS

We offer many different vaccinations
to keep your pet healthy year round.
FLEA&TICK
We have top of the line flea and tick
medications. They come in once a month
or even once every three months.
Ask Dr.Lenzo about the best choice for
your pet.
SURGERY
​
Dr.Lenzo offers many surgical procedures which include but are not limited to feline/canine spays and neuters, dentals, tumor removals and more. No more long waiting for surgical procedures, we can normally get you in within 7-10 business days.

OUR CLINIC
Dr. Lenzo established Lenzo Animal Hospital in 1990 as a family and pet friendly hospital.
Lenzo Animal Hospital is located just south of town on Hwy 441 in scenic Franklin, North Carolina. We strive to provide up to date, sensible medical care in a warm and friendly environment
ABOUT
THE VET
Dr. Lenzo established Lenzo Animal Hospital in 1990 and recently celebrated 28 years of service to Franklin and Macon County. He received his Bachelors degree from Western Illinois University in 1985 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 1989.
Fun Facts: Dr. Lenzo will be celebrating 32 years of Veterinary Medicine on the 21st of May.

Dr. Lenzo's greatest passion in life is his wife Joean and their three children Alina(15), Monica(8) and Roy IV(5).
​
Dr. Lenzo served on the Macon County Board of Health for 11 years and is the Veterinarian of Record for the Macon County Animal Control Agency.
​
Dr. Lenzo and his family enjoy being active outdoors.

THE STAFF
We have a small, efficient staff of two outstanding employees.
Miss Allie is the Office Manager. Allie Joined our staff in April of 2019. She is here to help anyone who walks into our office and she keeps this ship going. She is here to greet you with a friendly face Miss Allie is here to answer phones, make appointment, refill prescriptions and assist when needed. She is bright, kind and wonderful to have. She has a dog named Ginger, a cat named Mango, and a bunny named Sesame, who are the loves of her life!

Miss Lexy joined our staff in January of 2021. She is here to assist Dr. Lenzo in exam rooms and in surgery and much more! Miss Lexy interned at our office in the beginning of 2020, just before the pandemic hit and has been a wonderful addition to our small team. Miss Lexy is caring, compassionate and kind. Miss Lexy has a beautiful horse named Spice who she loves very much. She also loves dogs, cats, goats and just about any animal!
